Skyline Alumni Updates

It is always nice to run in to our former students and see what they are up to! Over the summer, Lisa had the great excitement of running in to a few of these fine former students and catch up with them!

Salina was a long time student of Lisas from age 4 to 16. It was a terrific surprise when they both ran into each other at Ikea before closing time. Salina has long graduated from high school and studies at University of Calgary in the Architecture program. She has her sights on travelling abroad to study for her masters when she graduates.

Tanner was a long time student of Lisas from around age 8 to 17. He recently graduated in June from high school and Lisa was excited to attend his graduation ceremony. Tanner was a wonderful addition to Skyline Music and attended several concerts which showcased his love of “gamer music”. He is excited to be taking a gap year and working alongside his dad in the Tech Industry!

Anthony was a student of Lisa’s at both the Calgary and Airdrie Skyline Music locations for over 10 years. Fun fact! He is also her 2nd cousin (whose mom is also named Lisa). Anthony was a fixed staple of every single recital throughout the decade and loved to perform pieces from pop culture and modern contemporary artists. After working on his RCM 8 level, he graduated high school and attended the University of Calgary Bachelor of Arts program in Drama. Anthony is a bonafide actor, singer and dancer who has starring roles in many theatrical productions around Calgary. He currently celebrated his 24th birthday in October and Lisa is honored to have been his first and only piano/music teacher since he was 6 years old!
