Cindi Lachner
Cindi was born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia into a large family. Singing was a part of her early life but she was in in her early thirties before she met her first piano teacher. He inspired her to work hard and gave Cindi a true love of classical music.
Cindi is an all around musician who studies classical piano, guitar, bass, harp and vocals. She is a singer-songwriter who has had one of her personal works published for the Airdrie Community Choir CD in 2024. She is currently working on her Level 9 Royal Conservatory of Music diploma in piano performance, and has already obtained her Level 9 History and Harmony diplomas in the last few years.
Cindi has been teaching piano and theory at Skyline Music for the past 8 years and has a home-based studio in Chestermere where she continues to inspire her own community as an established and experienced musician/teacher.
In her spare time, Cindi is an active member and soloist with the Airdrie Community Choir. Whether it is writing songs, hanging with her grandkids or learning a new instrument, Cindi is grateful to share her gift and enthusiastic personality with Skyline and the students!
