Skyline Music Turns 18!!

18 years ago on this very day, Skyline Music was officially incorporated and ready to start its new venture. With a location in Calgary near Mcknight Blvd NE, Skyline Music (named after the street the building was located on…Skyline Crescent) was officially ready to root and grow. In the past 18 years we have worked with hundreds of students and have provided the best training to the budding musicians in piano, guitar, theory, drums, bass, keyboard and organ lessons. We have had hundreds of music recitals and performances along with participation in festivals locally and abroad. Our amazing staff kept the music rolling along with their dedication and never ending support since day 1. We have been through it all together, including Covid 19 and an expansion to Airdrie in 2017. From being featured in magazines, newspapers, radio and social media to award winning teachers and students, through collaborations with community groups such as the Airdrie Community Choir…..we have done a lott and enjoyed every single second of it. Many thanks to the teachers, staff, students and families who have supported us all along the way. We have many original students from our first location still taking lessons with us and we are proud of every single accomplishment each student, has taken over the years. Skyline Musics proudest moments also include become Patrons of the Mini Maestros Program with the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, and for its owner, Lisa Ammirati to be rewarded with the Airdrie Mayors Night of the Arts award for Best Educator. We are honoured to have our students represent our teaching talents with their amazing performance abilities at the Airdrie Rotary Festival and going on to be invited to the Provincials. So many things done and so much more to do! Skyline Music has always been the one place during the week that anyone can go to for a break from their own lives. To learn. To love and to always feel validated in their own personal struggles and successes. We can’t wait to see what more is coming toward us all!
