Jennifer Werboweski
Jennifer Werboweski began piano lessons at age six, first taught by her mother and later under the instruction of Dawn Smith. Through her studies, she participated in examinations and competitions for both solo and duet performances, developing strong musicianship and performance skills. In high school, she completed RCM Grade 9 piano while also pursuing clarinet in concert band, alto saxophone in jazz band, and choral singing in both school and church ensembles. She later sang with the Ambrose University choir under Don Quantz, further broadening her musical foundation.
In 2018, she discovered a passion for teaching when she began instructing piano students from home. Guided by her mother’s background in education and pedagogy, she learned the importance of tailoring lessons to each student’s unique strengths and needs. Her thoughtful, caring approach quickly built strong connections with her students, and she has been teaching ever since. She continues to nurture her students’ growth with patience, encouragement, and creativity.
Beyond teaching, Jennifer is also an independent musician who releases original piano music, a professional artist, and a writer of fantasy fiction who enjoys worldbuilding and creating languages. Her wide-ranging artistic passions bring an exciting layer of creativity and inspiration to her teaching. She is excited to be teaching at Skyline Music and will be seen performing some of her own compositions at future recitals.
