Cindi Lachner

Cindi was born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, one of 5 siblings. Singing was a part of her early life but she was in in her early thirties before she met her first piano teacher. He inspired her to work hard and gave Cindi a true love of classical music. Cindi is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar, bass, a bit of harp and sings with 2 community choirs.  She successfully completed her Grade 9 Royal Conservatory of Music piano degree, along with her Grade 9 History and Harmony levels in 2020. She is currently working on song writing and producing in her off-time. Cindi has been teaching piano and theory at Skyline Music for the past 6 years. She is also a member of the Airdrie Community Choir and has her own home based studio in Chestermere. Her positive and bubbly personality can be felt amongst the many students she has taught for several years.
