Cindi Lachner

Cindi was born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, one of 5 siblings. Singing was a part of her early life but she was in in her early thirties before she met her first piano teacher. He inspired her to work hard and gave Cindi a true love of classical music. While she sings with a choir, dabbles with the guitar and the harp, Cindi is currently continuing her piano studies with Dmitry Nesterov and Lynne Dalcin. She is studying in Grade 9 Royal Conservatory of Music and has successfully completed her Grade 9 Harmony exam in 2019. She will be continuing onward in to History 9 and her level 10 requirements.  Cindi has been teaching piano and theory at Skyline Music for the past 5 years. She is also a member of the Airdrie Community Choir and has her own home based studio in Chestermere. Cindi’s positive and bubbly personality can be felt amongst the many students she has taught for several years.
